Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!
Our church, Suwanee Parish UMC, is an enthusiastic, positive and growing community of persons from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some have been residents of this area since childhood and can give you insight into the history of both the church and the community. Others are relatively new residents, who love the community and all of the ambiance that it offers. Regardless to the length of time that we have been here, we are now one growing church community and we invite you to come and grow with us. We believe that our diversity strengthens us. We believe that our love sustains us. We believe that our hope guides us. We know that our faith energizes us and the thought of you growing with us is truly exciting!
Our first time worshippers remark that from the very first, they are captured by the outpouring of genuine love and caring that flows during worship. While we are a growing congregation, we are still small enough to greet you by name and ask about those you love and the concerns that we share in trying times. Our church is built on a network of small groups (John Wesley would be proud) and if you would like to develop authentic and enduring relationships with others, then know that you are welcome in any group or class and that new groups are forming all the time.
We have been named a “North Georgia Church of Excellence” by our conference. This means that we are about the work of God, not just in our church but we see “the world as our parish”. Every day - in every way, we are striving to serve you better through positive, practical teaching; uplifting and exciting worship; honest friendships, constant prayer and compassionate care for those in need.
